Has anyone dealt with licit legal ltd?

I've had an email from them re collecting bank overcharges, however i cannot find any details on them at all

I have used them, posted application back on the 18th December, bank responded, my claim has gone back to my bank, awaiting response, should have a response from Bank 24th February.

Licit Fees 25% of claim
�15 for statements. (per account)
and a indemnity fee of �80 odd pounds win or lose.

I look at its 25% of something I probably wouldn't follow through with anyway. My claims is 6.5K so I still end up with 5K (hopefully all being well).

I have not yet dealt with licit legal Ltd yet, but thinking of them handling my bank charges reclaim....... is this an ok company, and has anyone else dealt with them?

Yes I did a claim with them late last year and was awarded more than the amount of charges because they were able to add interest in my particular case.
The cost mentioned for insurance was actually only �50 and I checked is only charged if you win if you lose you evidently pay nothing . Must say i have been very happy with the service provided

i dealt with bank complaints (www.unfairbankcharge.co.uk) and had just over �5000 from my bank in just over 2 weeks, i would recommend them to anyone. as for licit legal ltd they should be on watch dog! my friend and sister in law signed up online to bank complaints and some how through an insider licit legal ltd got there details sending them letters and emails requesting �15 to obtain statements and hounding them with phone calls, they where nothing to do with bank complaints who they had opted to go with and i had used. bank complaints have now been informed and dealing with this matter, but be very wary of them. bank complaints charge nothing except the 25% of whatever you win. no statement fees and no �80 charge. they wrote bank to tell me they got my bank details and it was being dealt with straight away, a week later the bank made me an offer of �2500 and i was advised that day by phone that i was not to accept the offer bank complaints had reviewed the statement over 6 yrs the bank had sent them with the offer and i should be offered double, so i did nothing and left it to them to issue the bank court papers, the following week i had �4943 paid into my bank along with �120 extra for the issuing of court papers. bank complaint wrote the next day saying the bank had backed down and i paid them 25% (�1355.00) plus the �120 court fees that bank complaints paid out for me and if i had lost i didnt have to pay back.
from what i have seen and heard of licit legal ltd STAY WELL AWAY!!!!

go to www.blagger.com and select licit legal ltd, they are not genuine nor registered with any legal authority nor are they a registered company. they get to people through unsolicitored emails!

Hi, im currently claiming my bank charges back with licit legal. Its been FIVE months and i still havent recived anything from the bank! Ive been told the bank are taking it to court. Licit legal are really bad for contact. The only letter ive recived from them is the agrement forms! Everything is over the phone!!! I called yesterday to find out what is going on, only to be fobed off with an email address!!!! Every time i call, im told ill be called back, and guess what IM NOT!!!

Id stay away from this company, well way!!

We signed up with licit legal about 2years ago now the last contact we had from them was july last year and have not had any contact since
i have tried emailing them but the email comes back as unvalid email and the phone number has also changed i really need help contacting this company they have had all our statements and we are still waiting does anyone know what i should do next?
can i call my bank and will they tell me weather licit legal has contacted them and when?
can we put in a claim with another company?

Licit legal are now running under the new name of "first step legal ltd" there contact number is 0161 442 6344. They still cannot process any of the bank charge claims as this issue is going back to the courts in July. Hope this helps as i have struggled with contacting them before.

I dealt with them about 3 years ago and everything ran smoothly- my money was successfully reclaimed and they took the agreed cut. However, I have read accounts of people that did not have the same experience, and this has put me off using them again. Has anyone else had recent problems with the firm?

I have just found out from speaking to First Step Legal that Licit Legal have gone into administration and that all contracts with Licit Legal are cancelled.

If you had a contract with Licit Legal you will receive, as I did, a letter from a company called MyClaims saying they have taken over your claim from Licit Legal. As far as I understand you are not bound to anything with McClaims and can decline to let them pursue your claim. From the sound of the letter they as bad as if not even worse than Licit Legal, so i wouldn't receommend it.
