Size of Icons on Desktop
10 Answers
Since my PC went down I have had to re-input everything and on my Desktop the Icon shortcuts seem to be larger than before as does the associated titles under them!
The same applies in My Docs where the icons are now larger.
What have I done wrong and how can I alter this?
Thanks
Moggie

Did you reinstall windows? if so did you install the correct graphics drivers for your computer after installing windows?
if you go to the support section of the manufactures website and search for the model number of your computer you should be able to find the correct drivers for your computer, at the very least it sounds like you need the graphics (video) driver, but it would be a good idea to get all the others and install them too while your there.
(or it might be as simple as right clicking on the desktop, select properties, then click on the settings tab and move the screen resolution slider up)

Thank you all. Running XP - just the Icons are larger than they were previously - have tried rt click on desktop again, but there is no 'view' only an arrange icons by box (which does not have vie in it) - also have gone into desktop and held down 'ctrl' and moved mouse wheel, but nothing happens at all there, and I know the wheel works.
Also the 'tray' at the bottom of the desktop screen is also enlarged with the icons there also larger. It is only the desktop - all other windows are correct such as 'Word', my docs etc where going into view shows 'medium'
Thanks
