o/s holiday pay now I've resigned

I've got 3 weeks and 3 days that I haven't taken but my boss said she's only going to pay me one week holiday. Is this allowed?

i think is at the company's discretion whether to pay you for any outstanding annual leave. if they are only prepared to pay you for one of the three weeks, then you are entitled to take the others before your 'official' leaving date.

Really? Oh she said I can't take any holiday in my notice period either as it will be inconvenient.

I suppose I am happy to let the matter drop seeing as we normally leave at about 4 everyday and I still get paid until 5. Plus she pays me for the few days I had off sick.

In my workplace holidays run from February to February. Your holidays are divided into 12 months so that works out at 3 days a month. Say I left this month and had not taken any holidays I would be entitled to 18 days holiday to be paid - does that make sense? This is in my workplace though I don't know if it applies to all workplaces.

taking into account youre usually on here for 4 hours a day i reckon you owe the company about 8 weeks wages

it is an entitlement as stated in your contract therefore they either have to pay you for it or you take the time off. even if it is inconvenient for them, is that your concern as you are leaving the company anyway??
