I've got 3 weeks and 3 days that I haven't taken but my boss said she's only going to pay me one week holiday. Is this allowed?

Your holidays are divided into 12 months so that works out at 3 days a month. Say I left this month and had not taken any holidays I would be entitled to 18 days holiday to be paid - does that make sense? This is in my workplace though I don't know if it applies to all workplaces.

it is an entitlement as stated in your contract therefore they either have to pay you for it or you take the time off. even if it is inconvenient for them, is that your concern as you are leaving the company anyway??
Take a look at this site if you want more information on entitlements etc
