Thanks again for the link greyfox.

Disappointing that the theme is so similar to the one Doc used a couple of weeks ago.

Barely 30 minutes with Brewer.

C'est vrai kaya'. Il etait le plus facile dans un long temps.
Thanks as usual, greyfox. Any bets on 'Idiomatico' in a couple of weeks?
Thanks for the link greyfox - a bit of dj vu this morning!
30 11 26 really says it all, especially for those of us who don't have the 17th Edition of Brewer.
Thanks for the link. Rather humdrum, as k said. As a non-Francophone without a copy of the relevant Brewer, finding the phrases was much the most interesting part, and even that was much easier than a couple of weeks ago. I'll email the crossword editor to complain :)
Merci Monsieur Renard !
Thank you greyfox !

Strange timing for this one, with a rather large clue at the foot of the page for any newcomers !
Next week - Mandarin Chinese.
Encore une fois merci beaucoup.
Lacking only 1a/4d and a copy of Brewers, and my French being limited to "sacre bleu", "merde" and "Sarkozy", I would appreciate a hint, perhaps regarding the English translation of 1a/4d. Ach, du lieber!
The first word in 1ac (and 3rd in 4d) could equally have come after 26 dn (ignoring the pluralisation).

Many thanks for link as always
thanks turnerjmw.
