I thought it was Jung Chang but as she is not on your list I would go for Hillary Clinton.
It's possibly Lynne Truss who wrote 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' which was one of last year's best sellers. It's a very funny book all about grammar and spelling - quite apt in this day and age where so many people seem to think it doesn't matter any more!

Thanks to you both.  I think charismatic-but-right-wing Bill is outselling Hillary, and the grammar is quite amusing but sold well for a grammar rather than absolutely.  I suspect the (unspecified) reference period is essential and that, when the question was asked Jung Chang's book was not even released.  We'll see.
