my neighbour has removed a privot hedge and replaced it with a boring 3ft high fence
need break up the longitudinal lines by placing afew plants in that will flower every year
the plants
would like the following
will be placed into a border approx 1 ft wide
1. not to high 2 foot max 2 ft spread max (dont want it to kill my lawn)
2 flowers june to sept
shallow root and preferable will not grow thick branches

Sea Holly.
Roses.
Comfrey.
Campanulas.
Escallonia.
Just look in any gardening mag out now.
Fences are VERY boring. 3ft is better than 6ft though. I hope the birds weren't nesting in the privet. You could report the neighbour if there were.
