A Stupid Question I know? Potatoes
32 Answers
Are potatoes included in your 5 a day veggie / fruity thingy? Can they be seen as such or are they all just starch & water & carbs as some Dr told me recently when advising me not to eat em?? Like I'm going to stop my stable diet!?!?!?

LOL at Beauj!!!!!
Good lord pasta!!!!! What a long answer!! Well here's mine - potatoes are fine for some, but others have a starch inyolerance, so have to be careful.
Potatoes DO have a lkot of starch in them - or slow-release carbs if you like, but this's broken down into glucose, and - if it's not converted into energy (through exercise), it's stored as fat in the body.
I know I'm right - got an exam pass at A Level in biology! : )

Razzel, to the sands of Rossnowla I take it??
Was a my grt Neices Christening in St Johnstone Donegal 2 weeks ago, but stayed in Derry, - Tower Hotel - would recommend to anyone - Derry is a grt place to be now!
Tomorrow for me? Don't know! I just do whatever I feel like when I wake up - even if that means going back to sleep!!
Tom and I have paint & paper in and are planning to do the house up - some work has also to be carried out to it. Then we hope to put it on the market and if we get the right price, buy somewhere in Co. Down, Castlewellan outskirts or there about, - that's were most of my family are from.
So maybe tomorrow, might even start a bit of painting!
