CDA Washing machine - ysmall yellow stains on clothes

After using my CDA washing machine I am getting a lot of very small yellow stains/marks on white/pale clothes. They don't come out once they are there eitehr! Is my washing machine or I have also been using Vanish Oxi Action powder - could this be the problem?

Hi, have you tried using the machine empty on it's hottest wash this often works. Sometimes there could be deposits of something in the machine and using it empty on a very hot wash will get rid of it. Still put the washing powder, liqiuid or whatever you use in the machine though.

This sounds like a problem I had a couple of years ago. If I remember rightly the bearings had gone (releasing rust into drum) and caused little dots on clothes. Not cheap to fix, cost me about �150.
