nail polish on bed sheets

hello i dropped some pink nail polish on my white bed sheets and have no idea how to get it out. nail polish remover just smudges it please help

If nail varnish doesn`t work (which is acetone) then I think a new sheet is the answer.

have you tried actually soaking the stains in nail varnish remover for a while then washing?

I did this once while staying in someone elses house and really panicked. Luckily ther's a Stain Devil (from supermarkets, hardware etc) for nail varnish that took it out easily.
