Is there anyone else like me who is sure all there answers were correct yet paper says today no winners for 7th July big one .

Yes, me:o) I find it hard to believe that the newspaper opened and checked every entry - there must have been thousands. They're not reneging on paying out the prize money as they're offering 2 x �500 for today's crossword. A bit odd....I feel like contacting them and asking where we all slipped up:o)

6 crosswords ALL CORRECT, and I am sure there
were a lot of people on this site got it correct also.

Yes I did!!. I get the feeling that the paper must only check a few entries and if a winner isn't found they then decide that a rollover would be good publicity.

Good news is, 2 chances to win this week; bad news, last week's postage was wasted.
I think we'd rather have a genuine chance each week the way it's supposed to be. Cancellations should NOT happen:
1. If there are 2 valid answers (they should accept both).
2. If a misprint/other error does not prevent you finding the answer.
A year or 2 ago when the clue was "singer Sheena (6)" and the answer was Sheena (ie Easton should have been the name in the clue) they should have let it stand. Agreed?
