i recently had my tragus pierced (small part of ear next to the head, if that makes sense!) and two lumps have appeared around the holes of the piercing. their really getting me down and i wondered if anyone had any suggestions as how to get rid of them...i don't want to get them frozen or burnt of by doctor, maybe as last resort.so any ideas are welcome.thanks.xx

I had my Tragus done 10 years ago and it is the only piercing to ever give me grief and take the longest to heal.(almost a year). I had the lumps you speak of but they disapeared. You just have to clean the piercing regular, 2 or 3 times a day with saline (or contact lens fluid is what I used) Surgical spirit is OK but can be sore at first. I also changed the ring for a silver stud. It is fine now and one of my fav piercings.

I also have my Conch, Diath, Rook pierced in my ears, all healed quick with no probs.

Ah - the joys of self mutliation!
my tragus took ages to heal too. It still gets inflamed every now and then if it gets pushed the wrong way when i sleep or if i accidentally hit it with the phone when i answer it. But i like it too much to take it out! As londondave says, just keep it clean.
