Braces - entitlements?

I got braces on the NHS a few years ago, when I was 15 or so. I was told that after I got them off, and after I'd worn retainers, I would get a permanent thing at the back of my mouth that would hold my teeth in position.

I never got this, and since then my teeth have moved quite a lot, not quite as bad as they were.

I just wondered, would I be entitled to get braces again for a small while for free to make my teeth as perfect as they were when I got my braces, especially since I was told I would get the other thing to hold them in shape?

how old are you now? Adults arent entitled to orthodontic 9brace) treatment on the NHS, and in fact children are not automatically entitled any more after a change in the contracts in 2006. The criteria is now on clinical need.

I asked my dentist about braces (I'm 30) and he said it would cost me about 2k!
