What was the last piece of serious, thoughtful or helpful advice you gave someone?

The last time I imparted wise advice was when my aunt sat down with a giant cream doughnut in her hand, mouth wide open, ready to go in for the kill. I looked at her with increasing awe and said, "I really don't think you should eat that !"
