I went shopping today to specifically buy a lamp.

However after quite a few hours of trawling round "Home" shops, I found myself in Clarks shoe shop.

I came home with a fantastic pair of red patent shoes. I must say that they brighten the room better than any lamp!

Would a man have done something similar? And if so what would they buy?

My hubby always says the shop didn't have it - some basic like bread or sugar - if he can't see it that's it

or another favourite phrase is I thought we'd have this for a change

craft I think i almost have enough now, well, enough to last me a few years lol by the time we close on 8th august i expect to have another few pairs but i donlt expect to need to buy any more shoes for a good while! I've rescued some timeless classics and some high summer favourites from the stock clearance racks! I think all shoes deserve a good home, i may start a campaign

Beige balaclava and a strange item of clothing that I stole off your washing line the other morning... it was getting light and I heard approaching footsteps... I had to 'grab & run'...

wondered where that went snags - just put it in the recycling bin - it is plastic after all ;-)
