After having an argument with my friend he suggested if I was so sure of what I believe (predicting about how long a certain manager would be in his job) I should place a bet with the bookies.
How do I do this?

Wander in to your local bookie, and tell them that this is what you want to bet on.

They will do one of 3 things.

1. Tell you the odds, and help you fill in a betting slip.

2. Tell you that they can't work out the odds, and so they can't take the bet (so you then try somewhere else).

3. Tell you that they need a bit of time to find the odds, and could you please call in tomorrow.

It's easy ... and fun.
