Kids dungaree clips
5 Answers
This is going to sound really dumb, BUT - how do you thread the straps of kids' dungarees through those little metal thingies with the 2 sliding bars? I stupidly took them off to wash them - and now however I try to thread them back on, they keep slipping off again. Urgent help needed to stop my tiddler disrobing at inopportune moments...

My little darling covered herself form head to toe in nappy cream this morning. Also the telly, the coffee table, the sofa and the dog! She was wearing dungarees at the time and I've just dried them!
Do you find yourself driving along the road singing "oh we're trugging along, I wonder where we're going.......", or is it just me?
Well this is going to be complicated .. much easier to show someone but I will try. Have the right side of the strap (loose end) coming towards you and the metal thingie facing the same way Thread the strap behind the top (fixed) bar and through to the front above the sliding bar. Then thread it from front to back below the sliding bar. Now thread it from the back to the front through the middle of the sliding bar and finally from the front to the back over the top of the sliding bar. I hope that you are able to follow that!!! .. if not I will try again.
Many thanks, both, for rising to the challenge of describing a rather complicated procedure in such a way that I understood it - well done! I'll try both ways, as they seem to be slightly different, and see which is the most toddler-proof... 'Fraid you're on your own there, stephaniel, I usually end up singing "Five little speckled frogs" and "Old McDonald had a farm" (however, being as Treasure chooses the animals, Old McDonald has loads of cats and precious little else...)
