Internet History?

When using Internet Explorer on my old PC, I am sure there was a button along top of screen called History, and clicking on this brought up all the sites visited. You could then select the date period down left of screen such as "within last week" "Last month" etc.

I presume the new PC is running an updated version of IE and I cannot find how to view history, only how to delete it. It must be there somewhere I'm sure. I went on a website last week, and want to trace it. I know what day I viewed it, and haven't deleted the history. Help! Many thanks

If you are using IE version 7 then click on the yellow star at the left of the tabs you have open. Then you will see the "History" button.

In Internet Explorer 8, click the Favorites button, and then click the History tab.
