Pay-as -you-go Mobile Broadband
6 Answers
I need Pay-as -you-go Mobile Broadband for my netbook, but I don't understand how it works, other than I can buy a dongle to get the connection. But if that's the case, why can't I connect through my mobile linked to the netbook (Samsung NC10) with Bluetooth and using a pay-as-you-go sim mobile card? My netbook has built in wireless networking and my mobile is a Nokia 6500. It can't be that easy, but can someone explain why please?

Mobile phones connect with broadband in my area OK but dongles are useless, very difficult to connect and having done so many sites don't display and those that do are so slow as being useless. I finally gave up and took the netbook and the dongle back to the retailer. They were not pleased but as they had assured me the signal strength in my area was good and would work well with a dongle. They had to accept the fact that the goods were not fit for the purpose for which they had been bought. I suggest you get it in writing that they will work in your area and if they don't they will take them back without an argument.
