So if I buy a chinese take away and don't eat it all (yeah right chance would be a fine thing) then I can keep it for the next day in the fridge? I take it if it didn't give me food poisoning the first time around it's not going to do it the second time around if I reheat it properly.
Can you do this with all take aways or are there some things you shouldn't keep?
I nearly always get a take away on Friday nights (normally Chinese, sometimes Indian) but even 2 dishes are more than I'll eat that night. So I always have what's left for breakfast/lunch the next day. I don't re-heat it though (just in case) as I don't mind food cold - it tastes the same after all.
Apparently, despite what you'd think, the worst thing to reheat is the rice.
