crazy lazy solictor
filed for a divorce 4 months ago and i have not even seen a decree nasi yet, my solictor does not respond to my phone calls or any messages i leave him to update me. he says he is to busy with other clients.
3 weeks ago teh court wrote back to him telling him decree nasi is not granted they need further info. he failed to tell me this, only after several phone calls he managed to give me this information, i was so stressed and ill with anxity i wrote an emailaking him to keep to his words and ensure the case is being dealt withpromptly and that i too am a paying customer i already gave him 350 rest to follow.
i dont know what to do, when ido speak to him i can't understand his african acsent it gets much stronger whenhe is stressed can some one advise me what to do? he was reccommended by someone very close to me an i wish i had just gone to a normal english solictor and got all this sorted out there and then

No best answer has yet been selected by postage. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Go the Law Society website - click on 'Find A Solicitor' - enter your postcode and select the area of law that's relevant (it will probably say 'Matrimonial'). Phone two or three local firms and ask for an estimate of costs. Try to get a female solicitor to act for you since they will be more conscientious (sod political correctness - I am being intentionally sexist). Ask her to contact your lazy solicitor and transfer the work to her.
