peri...did 6months at the Rotunda...hated it. Bl00dy women BUT...a funny story for you about Dublin.

There was a theatre sister in a hospital in UK who did "a turn" at the top of a hat...so to speak. She would also do a bit for half a pint of bitter and when she was on lates, if the ambulance men gave her a lift home, then she would give them "a lift " in the back of the ambulance.

Well an new young Consultant Anaesthetist was appointed and he latched onto her. He arranged to take her to a meeting in Dublin, booked a hotel ..the Gresham and gave her the works.

When he returned, we gave him the good news that all that was unnecessary, as she would have done a "turn" for a half of Guiness......LOL LOL

When I worked in an office one of the cleaners asked me if I was aware that the new guy in my team went for a kip in the lounge every afternoon. I asked him about this and he vehemently denied it was him. Everybody was falling about laughing........he was the only black guy in the building.
