Yes, entertaining indeed and quite challenging (perhaps more so than last week's Listener?) I have completed it but am not sure why the first of the two words made up by the misprints is there - is it mildly redundant?
Perhaps. But think of the two word phrase as the political term meaning a constituency held with a particularly small majority, and relate that to the title. Also think of where the (second words) are placed in the grid. A visual pun.
Belated thanks for the link. Am travelling in England, and on to the Isle of Man on Tuesday, so not much opportunity to get on the internet and won't be printing off the Speccie or the EV until tomorrow afternoon. Greetings to you all and happy crosswording.
