oh zzxxee. poor you. Do you know where you might have caught this from?
try not to breathe too hard on your keyboard, we don't want an epidemic on here!

ive no idea lots of people at work have had the sniffles but have put it down to summer colds
how does anyone know if its swine flu, you may just have a cold.
A pregnant work colleague of Mr CRX has been told she has swine flu (again without tests). Mr CRX, the kids and I have had coughs, sore throats and sneezes all weekend, and headaches for me and Mr CRX today. But is it the flu or a cold?
zzxxeee, id say that if youre online then its probably not bad enough for you to need tamiflu.
rest up and i hope you feel better soon
One of my managers came to work yesterday after having a week off and taking tamiflu tablets.

He still felt unwell, virtually collapsed over his desk, his shirt was obviously damp from fever. Eventually he went home, after we all complained.

So we are all praying we don't catch it.
Oh funny don't you just love it when people do that?!

my symptoms are as follows
1 temp 38.2 has been as high as 38.7 in the last 12 hrs
acheing joints
3 headache
i am also asthmatic and have been useing my inhaler a little more frequently
am in bed on my laptop before any nasty remarks are made
It was said on TV that you can have 2 weeks off if you can prove that it is deffinately swine flu that you have.
you will have to ring your employer and ask them.

my surgery is not letting people in to make appointments with symtoms though so im caught between the devil and the deep blue sea
zzxxee, my inhaler has taken a battering over the last few days too, it often does though in this kind of muggy / thundery weather, but not quite this much.
if you have swine flu and chicken pox do you have ......pork scratchings?
i read that earlier Daffy, but so many other things can have the same symptoms cant they. Shortness of breath can be caused by a trigger like pollen or dust or thunderstorms.
i think there are many people out there with a cold who are being treated for swine flu and perhaps also many out there with flu who are putting on a brave face and not wanting to put their GP out by requesting help.
I think we should all start wearing those masks!!!
To be honest I wouldn't know when to phone the doctor in my case.My condition changes daily so it is difficult to know whether it is just my usual 'bad day' or something else.I was pretty breathless and in a lot of pain with a temp yesterday, but today I don't feel too bad.lol
Anyone can self-certify for the first seven days of an illness, after that you must get a medical certificate from a doctor. If swine flu is suspected, even if you are off for fewer than seven days, some employers may insist on a certificate confirming that you are no longer ill and are fit for work
Or, in the case of Royal Mail, threaten you with the sack unless you come in and work. This also applies to broken legs, heart attacks, operations, etc etc.

We'd better not catch it of t'internet !
