braces-bracket fallen off!

ok so, last night i was brushing my teeth and on my upper left back tooth the bracket of my brace just completely came off. the wire is still there, just not the bracket. my next appointment is in september-can i wait until then or should i get it checked it out now? will it affect the movement and straightening of my teeth alot? cheers :)

You should make an appointment for as soon as you can, could well affect the treatment.

I agree with peebee. Had it been only a few days till next appointment I'd have waited, but two months is too long. Don't you get monthly appointments?

thanks, yeah my mum said to get it put on again asap but was just making sure haha!
no, at the othordontist i have check ups for the braces every 6-8 weeks. thanks again though :)

Some of my daughter's pinged off unbeknownst to me, and when we went back they had to start all over again from the first tension of wire, meaning she wore her's for 6 months for nothing and now we'll have an extra 6 months of appointments and brace wearing till she gets it off, so the sooner you get it fixed, the better
