Are you sure it's not the Stevie Wonder song. I would have thought the one we sing at parties is well out of rights date?

No, it is not true.

It was believed that Paul McCartney owned the song, Happy Birthday to you, and that Jacko acquired it when he bought the Beatles' back catalogue. But Mccartney never owned it.
