Just seen this on UK Gold where Hamish was contemplating suicide, blaming himself for the death of a previous girlfriend/lover/partner.  Does anyone know the cause of her death as it wasn't mentioned in this episode?  Someone said she killed herself but why?

Was it because she watched too much Hamish Macbeth? Hee-hee!

She had gone out on a stormy night in mobile 'pirate radio' van to finish reading a story on air (a promise made to an old couple), before she actually left Lochdubh (it was over between her and Hamish).The van became 'bogged down' on a hillside road and while she was getting out she slipped and fell to her death ! Hamish was distraught. Not that I watch you understand (wry smile) !
