A convicted murderer still in prison as got a facebook account. It is under a false first name but surname is his. His photo is on the profile. The friends section shows the same people who were on his facebook, before and during his trial. Its definately him.
I along with others have reported this to facebook over 8 weeks ago, and nothing as been done to remove this account. I have also reported this to the police via crimestoppers by email. I have not had any reply from either. Any suggestions to what you think I should do next? Don't want to speak to the press for obvious reasons.

My nephew was the victim. The family liason officers move on after the trial.

We are quite a large family, have lived in this area all our lives, would be very hard for us all to move.
i cant believe that after a trial the police dont offer any further support. Try and speak to the family liason officer that you did have, they will be able to give you further advice.
I don't think, apart from the advice you have already have from here, that anyone from here can help you further.
Try out some of the things people have suggested here and keep on, and on, and on at facebook.
Best of luck with that.

Family liason officers are detectives. They have other duties, and other families to support. They are with you untill trial is over, their job is then considered done. Then your on your own
Question Author
Thanx everyone, I will do as you have all suggested.
surely if this is connected to same case, as you are suggesting, then it still comes under their list of duties? it wont hurt to ask them, the worst they can do is pass you on to the correct department.
