vinyl fllor help pls
we had a vinyl floor laid in our hall 3 months ago, we have a south facing door and frosted glass in the top half of the door, we recently noticed a large type of bubble appear a bit like a air bubble, we called the shop na dthey sent the fitters back in and they said its down to heat that has come through and made it expand, they pulled it up and re fitted as best as they could, but the bubble now (10 days later) appers to be coming back. they said it had expanded due to heat and didnt want to re use it in case in shrunk...is this possible??

This stuff is generally stuck down with contact adhesive and the adhesive is spread ALL over the surface, so it then sticks it down ALL over.
Whilst it is true that surface heat could cause the vinyl to expand, I reckon that if it was stuck down properly in the first place this wouldn't have happened. There must be air under there.
Unless anyone else has a better explanation?
