dropped assault charges ,making life hell
friend of a friend of a friend, was assaulted by her partner, and reported him to the police . after apologising and showing remorse , she dropped the charges.but they are no longer together, and he now lives 45 miles away . However now he is making her life hell, he reported her to social services ,tax offices, council , rspca, child protection ,(some of these have reported allegations as just being malicious)everyone he can think of with his lies . even though he lives miles away he travels to her home every day, just to cause her trouble. he cuts her phone and tv wires , he has a key and steals from her house when she is at work ,but she cannot prove it is him. Can she press the assault charges once they have been dropped. OR what can she do to stop this low life.

She says he admit ted to her hes done these things ,but he would deny all of this to the police. I like you think the first thing she should have done was to change her locks. he also got her sacked from her part time evening job
everytime he steals something from her house, she should report the theft, any damage he causes she should report it. The police will act eventually to find the culprit, whether it is him or not.
Her neighbours may be able to agree that he is seen in the area every day.
i dont see why the police are saying they can do nothing. can she speak to a solicitor about preventing the ex visiting the property?
perhaps the police also find it strange that she hasnt tried to actually prevent any of this occuring, changing locks would be first thing many would do.
you say he cuts the phone lines? it that the BT part? they would report the matter too if it is.
