I'm not as confident as i was 8 weeks ago when we went into the collective consultation and we were all told the depts were leaving debs. 750 people involved but not many have found jobs yet. we finish 19th august and hopefully after some good interviews and assessments i will have found something, I've learnt to widen my scope though
they have to put you in a jobs at risk situation and then the collective consultation if it is over 20 people, it's so long winded. check out the ACAS website or ring 08457474747 the are very good
care work mainly i have worked with dementia residents in residential and nurseing settings
am signing on with a care agency on fri and am waiting to here back from one or two places so its not all bad totterdown
I'm sure the agency would take you on. It could be that if you work with themfor a while and you like it, the agency might offer you a permanant job with them. Good luck on Friday. Keep plugging away, something will turn up.
