Food budgets

Hi

Im just wondering what people spend on average a month/week on food alone? What is the daily average amount people spend on food? Boring question but Im looking at my budgeting and I am amazed at how much I spend on just eating sensibly !!!

me and my boyfriend eat sensibily yo and for the two of us we spend �50 a week on food with a further �10 a week on food my little bow has to have

i spend �30 just for me, includes �15 on delivered fruit and veg from local farm. �15 in supermarket.

I eat relatively healithly, but my partner doesn't. We spend �50 a week plus between us - more if I'm stocking up the freezer!

Thanks for that- Im the same so its seems thats about normal. Frightening when you add it up !

i asked this question several weeks ago, our food bill spiralling up to �150-�170 per week and becoming seriously worried. we are 4 adults and an 11yr old who eats for england and is still like a drainpipe! Was very reassured to read that many of you spend �50 per week for just 2 of you.I do find myself providing crisps biscuits and drinks for half of the neighbourhoods kids!!! as well

We have 4 adults and a 7 year old and I spend up to �200 per week on food. Also including toiletries and cleaning stuff so about �175 per week on food alone!
