They don't list a HD recorder, just select a DVD recorder in it's place, they connect in the same way.

When you get them all connected up and working properly draw a diagram showing what connected into where.
If you do this and you have to disconnect for any reason you will be able to re-connect everything straight away.
Have you considered searching manufacturers web sites for pdf versions of manuals?

If you draw a diagram you 'learn' what cable went in where.
You could also label ends of cables with what it does so that should you have to disconnect you know where to replace it. Handy for if you move again and you have a box full of cables and can't remember 'what does what' and from 'where to where'.
