Fed up with mobile phones. First thing, when the plane lands, out come the mobile phones"We're here!" Makes my blood boil.
Andrew Marr show on Sunday General Sir Richard someone or other.mobile went off twice during the interval. Interviewer lost interest and was clearly displeased.
This afternoon 1-1at snooker, 3rd crucial game and his bl00dy wife phoned him on his mobile. The "twittered on" for 10 minutes about bu99er all.
I made my disgust quite clear...is she being burgled, is she being raped, is she dying and if the answer to all the questions is NO, then get off the bleedin thing.
It took them 5mins to say goodbye.
Ban mobile phones.

There is always an announcement saying 'please do not switch on your mobile phones until you are in the terminal building'(or something like that) oh and also not to unfasten your seat belt until the plane has come to a halt. All of a sudden, whilst still moving you are hearing the beeping of messages and people are standing up to get their bags. Why do people not just do as they are asked - and what message is so important they cant wait! I wish the stewards would do something about it.
Your life must be one sad, sorry mess! Already had your day ruined!
I do agree that mobiles are constricting, in the sense that a person is available to be reached wherever and whenever - generally.
And I have to say that my moral character has taken afew blows everytime I ignore a call or text and start thinking of a plausible lie as a later explanation.
But to ban them?
You have to ask yourself - If you were ever, God forbid, burgled, raped or dying, would you reach for the landline?

Sqad - I do agree with you on some points - mobiles are good for an emergency - but to be honest I think when people are wittering on talking walking along the road, I think sometimes its just to say 'look at me, I have a phone' I always think, what a **** !
Mr. Den works in London and he says on the train coming home is a nightmare, the amount of people that give running commentaries on their phone to the person at the other end saying 'we are just pulling into .......station and whats for dinner' etc etc etc and at worst having a row on the phone for everyone on the train to witness.
My pet hate is idiots driving whilst using a mobile phone.
My god what did all these plonkers do before mobile phones were invented - I don't remember mile long queues at the good old red phone box..........................
