Distance from Baltic Ports to towns
We are going on a Baltic cruise in a few weeks.
We are looking to avoid the overpriced tours sold by the cruise company, so does anyone have experience of how easy it is to get from the port to the town, how long it might take and/or cost at the follwoing places:
Copenhagen, Stockholm (from Nynashamm), Helsinki, Tallinn and Oslo.

At some ports of call we booked an organised excursion, in other places we went off on our own. While the excursions weren't cheap, some were well worth the money. But what I particularly appreciated is that they held "port briefings" for those wishing to explore independently, and we got a lot of useful information from these. You may want to enquire whether this kind of thing is offered on your particular cruise.
