I've booked my car's MOT for monday morning

Hopefully i will feel better and get it there, can anyone tell me if i would need to get a new rear window wiper blade if part of the black rubber is hanging loose?

Need a replacement rubber strip only.Presuming the wiper functions OK.You don't need a completely new blade entirely.Hope your passes its MOT.

i would change it if i was you dot, they inspect the wiper blades in a m.o.t test.

Do not bother with the rear wiper blade defect. NOT an MOT checked item.

While I agree that the rear wiper is not part of the MOT test I'd still change it...

A new rubber for the wiper is a lot cheaper than replacing a scratched rear window.

I fitted a new rear wiper arm to my Golf the other day and it cost less than �4 for the whole thing. Just replace the arm TYIA.

tescos (watford branch at least ) do their own wiper blades for about �2 a blade.
mega cheap cheap!
