motocross bike starting problems

Having problems starting my 2004 honda 250 crf, need to kickstart the bike a lot when cold, 15 to 20 kicks
but once heated up goes well. Rececntly serviced, new air filter, spark plug, oil filter and oil change.

clean carb (pay attention to the choke mechanism , jets and bowl ) and fuel tap/filter unit, (filter is on tap- inside tank )
also if it has a separate fuel filter: check/renew that.
check spark plug. - clean and gap.(did you service it ? )
check air filter is correct one and fitted properly, no air leaks round sides etc.
make sure spark plug cap is clean - not 'arcing'.
