When I import a miscellanious cd all the songs go in a seperate album each when I edit song name and artist. I have put the album as misc 1 but still they are in seperate albums. Can anyon help me it is driving me mad!!

Sounds like you are just viewing them in artist alphabetical order. When you have your iTunes library open, click on the different headings such as album order. If you go to view and then view options, you can order songs in many different ways.

If you have a compilation it may be better to add a playlist and copy it to there.

No I have done all of that. It will put them in order but still in seperate files. Only way I could do it was to put artist and song on same line
