i have had a ph badge for the last 3 years with a full medical and crb check yet when i applied for a hackney badge i was told i had to have another medical and crb check . WHY ? could someone please explain .Thanks in advance.

private hire and hackney carriage are totally different, Im assuming you will also have to complete a knowledge test as well

Yeah legend,we allow criminals to drive taxis here in Lancashire,but some people hound drivers out just for having 'alternative' lifestyles.
