Oystercards/Railcards
I have a Friends & Family Railcard and I'm due to visit London mid-September. Is it possible to use the Railcard to get any discount from the Oystercard?
I suspect I might have been better off getting the Senior Railcard as it seems to entitle me to a discount. ( My wife and I are both in our sixties.) Any one got any experience of this?

Other railcards (including Senior) entitle you to a reduced daily cap with PAYG Oyster. To get it you have register your Oyster and railcard at a ticket office - when I did it there was a form to fill in as well but the procedure may have changed.
So the senior card might have been better - but you'd have needed one each, so double the initial outlay
