Windows 7 - Anyone know about XP Mode?

Just got an email from misco who are doing a deal on windows 7. It says it has an XP mode.

Does this mean (as I would suspect it to) that programs compatible with XP but not Vista can run on this?

I ask because the best music jukebox ever (musicmatch) sold out and is now defunct before Vista came out, so no upgrades. As such it won't run on Vista, but if I upgrade, will it?

Note that this XP mode is NOT available in Home Premum in Windows 7.

You have to have the next one up, Windows 7 Professional (or Ultimate) to run it.
