Breastfeeding in public....well............I did though I must admit I found for the most part people were okay.......Apart from a few curious and embarrassed looks......

Any thoughts?

Women should be able to feed their babies anywhere, but unfortunately, with so many gawpers and pervs around these days, it could turn into an unsettling experience for the mum.

Hi pasta - yes, but if a woman's made to feel as trhough she's doing somewthing "wrong", it can effect the milk flow and upset the baby, but of course it's a normal and natural thing to do.

I reckon so, yes, but you can't beat what nature provides can you? Cow's milk is for calves; human milk is for human babies.

sorry but the min. i saw the word breasts i had to see the question. as for Ice.Maiden...im quite of a perv but still....a bit of boob is not going to take my attention. some of my mates might get a bit curious and try to get a better look but there are quite a few mums out there breast feeding in bublic. the places at which you might feel a bit uncomfortable breast feeding is the beach because thats there most people go to see all of gods lovely creations (we go topless to the beach here if we want) but otherwise you should be all right.

Awww.....if a woman wants to feed her baby, she should be able to do so wherever she wants. It's a personal choice, and not as if the woman's going to give everyone a flash - and certainly of nothing that we haven't all seen before.
