My baby is due in December :o)
My fella and I were chatting about what names/nicknames we will give our grandparents and parents to make life easier as our son/daughter will have in total 10 grandparents :o) :o)
Just wondering if anyone else's children has this many.

My little girl has Nana (my mum) and Nanny and granddad (partners parents) and my grandmother her great grandmother is known as Supergran - she wanted a word which meant great but didn't give it away that she was the great grandmother, she turned 70 yesterday and is about to become a grandmother for the 3rd time, 14 months after becoming Supergran!
When I was a kid my great grandfather was Great-big-granddad (he was tiny! so I have no idea where the 'big' came from.)

You will find that your child will choose his or her own names for granparents.
Our first grandaughter christened me 'Grandad Glasses' because I wear them, and my wife is 'Nana Mum' because she heard her mum say "Mum" and added it on. My wife's parents are 'Big Nana and Big Grandad',
When our grandson arrived, I became Pandy - his mum is my stepdaughter, so rather than Dad, she calls me Andy, which he couldn't pronouce, so Pandy became my name.
Other grandparents - my daugher's ex-husband's dad, and her partner's mum are Grandad Jef and Nana Margaret, so these things just evolve naturally - it's more fun that way.
