Tesco House and contents

I have just received the renewal for our house and contents insurance from Britannic direct we have never made a claim with them and the cost is �362 for the year this according to them includes 35% discount for no claims and 12% for having both lots of insurance I have asked for a quote from Tesco and they are �140 cheaper and they include accidental damage as well. Is anyone with Tesco and would you recommend them.

I am with Privilege - cant fault their premiums or their claims service - they have been excellent.

I was with Tesco until last year when Directline came in �50 cheaper. However, the time I was with Tesco, I had to make a claim and they handled the claim brilliantly. I also had to make a claim for pipework on my house and Direct Line handled the claim just as well.

I would recommend both.
