Travel Advisor

I have had a second interview this morning for the above role, I was initoally told it was a team managers role and so I was quite interested to learn more.
Now I learn it is acually to be travel advisor, with the chance to progress , the money seems quite rubbish, though there is a bonus scheme based on achieving set targets.
I know I would be ok with the job and there is an intense 2 week training course before I actually would work in the shop, but I am abit unsure whether to risk going for this job now, to get into the sector and take a drop in salary, (which is actually going to not exist after the 19th August after my redundancy ) or should I hold on for a Retail Managers job somewhere.
How pressurised is the travel industry now? Anyone already working in travel and know what to excpect? It is probably the biggest travel agent group BTW.
cheers

thing is, if you have no job in any case, go ahead and give it a go. If you don't like it, drop it. You don't need to mention it on your cv so long as there's not months/years missing. It may be the start of something good, but you'll never know if you don't try. Also, there's nothing to stop you looking around for another job in the meantime.
Good luck dot, it's great that you get the choice!
