Which laptop is better?
4 Answers
I have a budget of 500(ish) and I am looking for an all round laptop. I have narrowed it down to these two and would like to know which is actually better (I dont fully understand the technical differences).

(Or perhaps any other alternatives you may find, however that website seems to be the cheapest).
Thanks

This is NOT a good choice for the home user as certain "home" features are not included, like the media centre.
I would look for one with Vista Home Premium.
To be honest the two laptops you have chosen are so different I have no idea how you narrowed it down to only those 2.
It is like saying you want to buy a car and have narrowed it down to a Mini or a Volvo estate.

Rofl VHG, I see what your saying. But its much more difficult comparing laptops than it is desktops (in my opinion). It seems every laptop has a slightly different processor. I intend to have a monitor and keyborad plugged in most of the time so size isnt really an issue. And if I go mobile with it then smaller seems better.
I will use office, surf web, maybe play some basic games. I have 500 aside for a laptop and basically need an all round machine. (But not too big physically). The Toshiba I may order tomorrow.
