Unusual Toadstool

We found an unusual toadstool growing on some wasteland near my auntie's and I have never seen anything like it before. It had a very thin white stalk leading up to a transparent head which looked a bit like a glass bowl. The head had very thin black lines running from top to bottom. Anybody know what it is?.

Could be, red-forest - but I think it's one of these - if I can get a pic up for barneyboo.
These are transparent mushrooms....sorry - can't get a pic for you. Google transparent mushrooms and toadstools...in images...and you'll see that on the 3rd row down, 3rd image in, what I think you've found.

Well I've got another name - a legit one, kindly allowed by the Ed, in case of over-posting.... but on the odd occasions I've used it, everyone knows it's me anyway - especially as it's similar to my usual one.
Sorry barneyboo - we've gone off at a tangent here, but I'm sure that if you follow what I said, you'll find your mushroom!
