Just a brilliant book by Gregory Roberts. But is it fiction or did it happen to him??

Apparently it did, but I have my suspicions he must have gilded the lilly here and there a la Papillion.

I read the book too, really great I thought. Even though it was over 900 pages, there was not one page that was not interesting. He has his own website (shantaram.com) and he says the book is going to be made into a movie (no!! - can't see how it would be a patch on the book).  He also says everything that happened him is true.
