MM Links Solutions August 2009 [Week 3]

I have been having trouble with AB all day and may need another route to get these results into the public domain.

It proved another healthy round as the third week in the reign of Pope Adrian aka twix123 swung into action. Let me begin by declaring his chosen Link Words under the theme of Commuting:

Once again, the early birds came in for some rich pickings with some very surprising names amongst the scorers! Opening the attack again was roslyn with STATION MASTER with a long string of fellow scorers in the form of x-ray, ulysses100, centrino & Grenmus ~ each picking up TWO POINTS. This list should have also included Christiana who had second thoughts and dropped her only hit!

Don�t faint everybody, but at this early hour came Kay aka evsajo with TICKET OFFICE to score a well overdue TWO POINTS! She was closely followed by a double hitter in the guise of tearinghair to repeat last week�s performance and pick up yet another FOUR POINTS! I therefore have great pleasure in announcing her HOT SHOT OF THE WEEK!

Entrant #14 was grannydi declaring �without much hope� and then proceeded to pick up THREE POINTS for her efforts! There�s more! Two predictions down the line came seekeerz declaring �Fat chance !!!� and brought home GUARD RAIL (and Station Master for good measure) to score THREE POINTS!

The game slowly ticked on with BRIDAL TRAIN still to be found. It took the very last entrant in the form of Canadian Joanna to strike a note for all you romantics out there and claim the last hit for TWO POINTS. Her husband Bert also picked up a point to boot!

Surprise Surprise - one each. And I originally wrote in Guard Rail and then changed it to Honour Guard. Moral of the story; go with my first choice.

Wow, thank you! I seem to do better when I'm in a hurry....
obviously thinking carefully isn't my thing! (Why am I not surprised?) Well done to all scorers, and commiserations to Crofter for his problems with the site. I couldn't get on at all a few days ago.

No folks, I wasn't scoring this week, I just posted the report for crofter who is currently locked out of AB.

WORD OT WARNING TO OTHERS.

Don't Log Out - If you do, AB won't let you back in again. - at leat not until the technicians figure out how to log themselves in and fix it.

Well it just goes to show it's a complete lottery.

I usually manage the KM links much better.
