Does time exist?
Is it true that time does not exist.......something to do with physics?

It's true that time doesn't behave the way most people think it does. It slows down or even stops in strong gravitational fields or when moving very quickly and is an aspect of physical space ( we talk of space-time )
But it definately exists.

Are you perhaps alluding to Julian Barbour's theory about time in his book "The end of time"?

Not read the book but looking at the blurb it rather appears to be a statement of the obvious.
As I mentioned above Time is inextricably linked to the phisical space we experience in the universe.
The problem comes where the author starts to say things like.
If we could stand outside the universe and �see it as it is�, it would appear to be static
What does this even mean? There are so many problems with this I hardly know where to start. But I guess it's inevitable without resorting to mathematics.
One thing for sure though time is the most puzzling thing and we've only just scratched the surface of understanding it.
