Schnauzer

We have a Miniature Schnauzer 7 years old. She has a superb temperament , she loves people & they love her. We are with her all the time but she ignores us, we seem to have only one use & that is to feed her . Over the years we have had loads of dogs so we are used to their different natures but never one like this, anyone had the same problem ?

My friend has a Mini Schnauzer male, aged 2 years, and we always comment on how 'aloof' he is, showing no emotion, no wagging of the tail or wanting to lick you or even come up for a fuss. He wants to be with the owners but does nothing other than just stand near them. I have never met a dog so devoid of character!
